Over the past few months, we have responded to the exceptional market conditions in hardware procurement by adjusting our one-time setup fees and monthly rates. Our goal is to distribute the resulting additional costs as equitably as possible while continuing to ensure high quality and reliable service.
Unfortunately, prices for key hardware components such as RAM and NVMe SSDs have continued to rise. At the same time, delivery terms and price commitments from manufacturers and distributors remain difficult to predict. As a result, the actual costs of deploying new systems are once again exceeding our previous estimates.
Since these costs are incurred immediately upon the provision of a server, they cannot be meaningfully spread over the contract term. Therefore, we are compelled to adjust the setup fees for Dedicated Servers once again.
We are aware that repeated price adjustments pose a challenge. We are continuously monitoring market developments and assessing the extent to which further adjustments are necessary or can be avoided. Our commitment remains to offer our customers stable and fair prices in the long term.
